BOOKING and SESSIONS

Q: how do I book a sauna session?

A: Booking is easy! First, choose whether you want a public group session (£15) or a private session for up to 8 people (£85). Then select your preferred date and time and click “Book.”

Q: What’s the difference between public and private sessions?

A: Public sessions are shared with other sauna-goers, while private sessions give you exclusive use of the sauna for up to 8 people.

Q: Can I book last-minute?

A: Public sessions may have limited availability, so we recommend booking in advance. Private sessions should be booked early to secure your preferred date and time.

Q: Why is sauna good for me?

A: Saunas offer a wide range of physical and mental health benefits. Regular use can reduce stress, improve mood, support cardiovascular health, aid recovery, and enhance overall wellbeing. Pairing sauna sessions with sea swimming provides additional benefits such as improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and a natural mood boost.

Community & Membership

Q: What is the Whitesands Sauna Club?

A: The Sauna Club offers weekly sessions for just £25/month, ideal for anyone wanting regular sauna access.

Q: What is the Community Health Places program?

A: Full-time residents of St Davids can self-refer for one free session per week for a month. Five spots are available each month on a first-come, first-served basis. If you miss out but feel in particular need, you can email us with a special request.

Q. Can members of the wider community join free locals sessions?

A: Members of the broader community are very welcome to visit the sauna, but they do not qualify for free sessions or the self-referral program. These are for St Davids residents only.

Q: Are there free sessions for the community?

A: Yes! Every full-time resident of St Davids is eligible for one free sauna session. This is a one-time offer per resident. If your home postcode falls within the St Davids area, including Berea, Carnhedryn, and Nine Wells, (if you qualify for a Whitesands carpark pass) – you can have a one-off, free 55-minute session.
